Steeler
This is a Jack Lambert-esque sketch I originally started back the week before the Superbowl, but didn't finish until I was hanging out with Jesse and Justin this past weekend. I haven't gotten to the color stage like they have yet, but hopefully that will happen soon.

Wonder Woman Day III (10-26-08)
These are the 2 pieces I donated for Wonder Woman Day III, that's taking place Sunday, October 26th. This year I decided to donate both drawings to the 'Jersey location, Comic Fusion in Flemington. Both are 11" x 17" in Pen & Ink on pre-printed comic book page bristol.
I'm really happy with how both pieces turned out, especially "The Trio", as I have a habit of usually drawing single characters in my artwork. A group shot was a fun little challenge. There has been a lot awesome artwork already donated and I'm jazzed to be in such talented company...especially helping some great charities.
I'll be spending some time at Comic Fusion on Saturday doing sketches/head shots for anyone who comes in to the store. I did this back on Free Comic Book Day earlier this year and had a blast. If you're in the area between 12 and 5, stop by. Comic Fusion is a great little shop in a kool neighborhood and it should be fun.

Cookie Monster ?
Cookie Monster?...kinda...sorta. This is one of those sketches that just started out as a simple doodle of just the character's head and seemed to keep growing from there. He could have possibly used some more shading, but he's been hanging out on my desk and under keyboard for a couple of weeks and I thought I'd get him posted before he got destroyed.

Wonder Woman Day III Sketch
This the initial sketch for my Wonder Woman Day III piece. I'll probably add a logo/lettering in up behind her head. I'm planning on doing this as a b&w, pen & ink with some marker for shading. This also might be the first of 2 pieces, I'll try and get done in time for the charity auction. I was thinking of possibly doing a group shot of her and other DC super chickies.

Halle Peño
It's been beyond forever since the last time I added a new post. So, in an attempt to make up for lost time here is the first of several new posts that I hope will be coming soon...
This is an older piece that I could never come to a conclusion on as far as a final color scheme was concerned, so here's both versions.

She-Creature...New for '08!
Woooo-Hoooo, Happy New Year!
My January 1st was super low key (never actually left the apartment), but when I was firmly planted on the couch I did manage to sketch up this lagoon-inhabiting babe. An inked and colored version of the image on the right will make it to my site in the near future.
