Wonder Woman Day III (10-26-08)

These are the 2 pieces I donated for Wonder Woman Day III, that's taking place Sunday, October 26th. This year I decided to donate both drawings to the 'Jersey location, Comic Fusion in Flemington. Both are 11" x 17" in Pen & Ink on pre-printed comic book page bristol.

I'm really happy with how both pieces turned out, especially "The Trio", as I have a habit of usually drawing single characters in my artwork. A group shot was a fun little challenge. There has been a lot awesome artwork already donated and I'm jazzed to be in such talented company...especially helping some great charities.

I'll be spending some time at Comic Fusion on Saturday doing sketches/head shots for anyone who comes in to the store. I did this back on Free Comic Book Day earlier this year and had a blast. If you're in the area between 12 and 5, stop by. Comic Fusion is a great little shop in a kool neighborhood and it should be fun.

Wonder Woman Day III Sketch

This the initial sketch for my Wonder Woman Day III piece. I'll probably add a logo/lettering in up behind her head. I'm planning on doing this as a b&w, pen & ink with some marker for shading. This also might be the first of 2 pieces, I'll try and get done in time for the charity auction. I was thinking of possibly doing a group shot of her and other DC super chickies.

Cartoony Wonder Woman for WW Day II

This is the 2nd piece done for Wonder Woman Day II, an art auction to benefit several charities in Portland, OR. The finished art (an 11" x 17" inked piece on bristol) can be seen in the Illustration Portfolio section of my website. You'll notice in the final image, her breasts were reduced a bit.

Wonder Woman Pin-Up for WW Day II

This piece and another (which I'll post later today) were done as donations for Wonder Woman Day II. A charity art auction being held in both Portland, OR and Flemington, NJ. As of this weekend, They've received donated art from Jim Lee, Adam Hughes, Al Rio and Jim Mahfood among many others.

My 2 are both 11" x 17" inked pieces on bristol. The finished art is in the Illustration Portfolio section of my website.
